| Daniel L. HubbardCell: 217-617-2057 Daniel was born in Hannibal, Missouri, son of Cheryl and Jim Hubbard of Economy Plumbing, which they sold before moving to sunny Florida in 2004. Needless to say, Daniel learned the plumbing trade by working alongside his father since he was a little boy. After serving in the Air Force, Daniel joined the Plumber's Union and built his first home. Shortly after, he moved to Florida and continued working as a plumber in new home construction, eventually joining Burgoon Berger Construction in 2000, a local and respected company, taking on the role of construction superintendent building over 150 new homes. Working for Burgoon Berger Construction prooved to be one of the most rewarding experiences for Daniel. With an average of 12 homes to supervise at one time, sometimes as many as 20+, Daniel learned that really caring, and having a great team of craftsmen, was the key to building quality homes on schedule and within budget...while at the same time adhering to Florida's stringent hurricane building codes, which could be considered equivalent to bootcamp for construction. Longing to get back to his roots, he moved to Quincy in 2005, and instead of building another new home for him and his wife, they decided to buy a home built in 1875 that they could restore. Building and remodeling had become a part of their lives, and their hobby became their passion. This passion drove them to venture into business with Joshua and Megan Schweitzer. Daniel is involved in all aspects of Hubbard & Schweitzer Construction, including estimating, field work and supervision. Hablo Español Jenniffer T. Hubbard Cell: 217-617-1889 Jenniffer was born in Colombia, South America, and after living in Iowa, Ecuador and Canada, she settled down in Florida. After marrying Daniel in 1999, she went to work in 2000 for the sister company of Burgoon Berger Construction, Southern Classic Homes, where she worked as their sales administrator. As sales administrator, she was involved in the new home community development, marketing, review of sales contracts, and community events...basically, "anything others wouldn't, couldn't or didn't do"... It was an opportunity to learn. In 2004, Jenniffer jumped at the chance to work for KB Home, a Fortune 500 company, that had just entered the local market. Here Jenniffer had the opportunity to work directly with architects, structural engineers, the building department and all that was entailed in fascilitating the submission and approval of building plans by the local municipalities, while adhering to the strict Florida Building Code. In addition, she worked in the estimating department, working with the subcontractors, keeping their insurance up-to-date, and issueing work orders for the start of new homes. When moving to Quincy with Daniel back in 2005, Jenniffer and Daniel put their field and admistrative experience to work when they teamed up for a joint venture with Joshua and Megan Schweitzer. Jenniffer is involved in all aspects of Hubbard & Schweitzer Construction, including administration.
